Matt Wardle first picked up a camera at the age of 11 and was for-ever the embarrassment of his family for unashamedly photographing everyone and anything that got close enough to him and an his old Olympus. 21 years later not much has changed except for the camera. Matt worked as a freelance photographer for several years before returning to University to study graphic and multimedia design. After graduating in 2003 he co-founded Black and Ginger, one of Liverpool’s most respected creative design agencies, this has allowed him to indulge his passion for photography on a larger commercial level and work larger personal projects, specifically documenting the lives around Liverpool’s River Mersey.
